"Under the Moon" (also known as "Yoo-oo-oo-oo") is a classic popular song published in 1927. The sheet music was credited to Ev. E. Lyn (Evelyn Hiller), Francis Wheeler, and Ted Snyder.The song gained popularity during the late 1920s jazz era and was recorded by various artists, most notably by the jazz singer Annette Hanshaw. The upbeat foxtrot focuses on a romantic encounter between a couple, sparked by observing an owl and a squirrel "spooning 'neath a tree".
